Grande nouvelle : je quitte
Paris ! Après quelques mois de
vadrouille et la découverte de nombreuses villes françaises j'ai
enfin pris la décision de quitter Paris. Lorsque je m'y suis
installé, il y a bientôt six ans, je me rappelle avoir rapidement
voulu la quitter puis je m'y suis attaché, au fil des années, à
tous ces monuments, ces immeubles fameux haussmanniens, ces grimaces
intempestives et à toutes ces particularités qui rendent Paris si
unique, extraordinaire.
Pour ne rien vous cacher, cela fait tout de
même à peu près deux ans que je convoite secrètement de m'enfuir,
de tout laisser derrière moi, commencer autre chose ailleurs. Une
telle décision ne devait cependant pas être prise à la légère.
J'ai donc attendu sagement de terminer mes études, tout en profitant
un maximum de ce dont j'allais me séparer.
Au final si l'on fait un
bilan, on prend rapidement conscience que les musées, les galeries,
les opéras, les lieux incroyables, on les fréquente peu et surtout
qu'ils ne vaudront jamais un bord de mer ou un coin de montagne.
Arrivent ensuite les inconvénients : le bruit permanent, la
pollution, les transports en commun et tous ces éléments qui
occupent un bon tiers d'une journée quotidienne et amenuisent votre
moral.
On se dit que tout ça, ça ne manquera pas, que ce serait
pas plus mal de le vivre seulement quelques fois par an, tout du
moins ponctuellement, sans bien entendu faire une croix dessus
définitivement.
Le voilà donc mon adieu à Paris, presqu'au même
endroit où je lui ai dit bonjour ! C'est près de la Tour
Eiffel que, veste de motard et sac-à-dos sur l'épaule, je prends à
la route de Bordeaux !
Today I have to tell you
I am leaving from Paris after months of wandering across French
cities. I remember the day I arrived there, about six years ago. I
was already wanting to come back to my home town but I quickly had
this crush on the hassmanian architecture, the old monuments, the
bad-tempered people and all that points which make Paris.
Once again
I changed my mind two years ago I got thinking about leaving from
this city seirously to start something new somewhere else. But Ihad
to finsh my studies which are now over ! I summarized my life in
Paris and I understood that I did not visit a lot of museums, many
galleries or toof part to all that stuffs you can only find in Paris.
Why? I think you all that event look like usual when you are
living next to it so you are always reporting them later. Another
conclusion was all the unbearable things : pollution, transports
and endless noise which decrease your happiness everyday. How happier
I would be if I lived that only some times a year, like a visitor.
That the whole reason why
I am saying my farewells to Paris near the place I said it hello, around
the Eiffel Tower. Wearing a biker jacket and holding a backapack I am
ready to go to Bordeaux!
