Seconde et dernière partie de mon photodiary de New York et Brooklyn... Inutile de vous redire dans quelle mesure j'ai apprécié les moments que j'ai passés là-bas ; ma conclusion est la suivant : ce sera toujours un plaisir de m'y rendre toutefois je prie pour ne jamais devoir y vivre pour la simple et même raison que je souhaite quitter Paris : la "routine citadine". Parmi les nombreuses découvertes que j'y ai faites, voici celles que j'ai préférées :
New York
◊ Mandarin Oriental Hotel - une vue du 35ème étage, dans un cadre silencieux et agréable contrairement au Standard Hotel où il faut venir endimanché ou en talon de mauvais goût.
◊ Tokio7 - une friperie de vêtements de luxe à prix dérisoires ( ex - un blazer à 160 $ au lieu de 1900 $)
◊ Century 21 - de la marque lambda aux grands designers, minimum moitié prix. Se fixer une heure pour ne pas y perdre la tête
◊ MAD - Musée d'Art et Design avec un restaurant-bar offrant une belle vue sur Columbus Circle
◊Brooklyn Bridge - rejoindre Brooklyn en marchant ou en jogging, avec une vue et une architecture imbattables
◊ East Village parks - partout dans l'East Village, ils sont personnalisés par les résidents et idéaux pour une pause
◊ Hudson River - à mes yeux le plus beau lieu de New York où l'on pourrait rester assis des heures entières en voyant la brume partir et revenir. Ne pas hésiter à faire une partie de billard, de ping-pong ou de bowling chez Lucky Strike, sur la 12th avenue
◊ Pour se loger, sincèrement le mieux est d'opter pour ue location d'appartement à New York.

Brooklyn
◊ Thrift shops & Salvation Army - il y en a beaucoup, le mieux c'est de se balader au nord de Brooklyn, dans Williamsburg et entrer quand on le sent !
◊ Botanic Garden - mieux que Central Park, c'est un havre de paix (pour 5 ou 10$) où se cache un sublime jardin japonais. Romantisme et oxygène
◊ Bareburger - restaurant "cuisine américaine" mais biologique dont on sort sans avoir mal au ventre ni pris 3 kilos
◊ Coney Island - au Sud de Brooklyn, un grand parc d'attraction cosmopolite, avec une longue plage de sable, où l'on retrouve certaines scènes de films et séries
◊ Whyte Hotel - pour y dormir ou prendre un verre sur le rooftop, le service est irréprochable, la vue imprenable, la clientèle sympathique.
Second and final part of my PhotoDiary of New York and Brooklyn ... no need to repeat how I enjoyed the moments I lived there; my conclusion is simple: it will be always a pleasure to go there but I would never like to lie there for the same reason as I want to leave Paris : the city routine. Among the many discoveries I made there , here are my favorite ones:
New York
◊ Mandarin Oriental Hotel - a view from the 35th floor, quiet and pleasant contrary to the Standard Hotel where you have come worn as a bling begin guy or with bad-taste heels.
◊ Tokio7 - a thrift with luxury clothing for good prices (ex - a blazer at $ 160 instead of $ 1,900 )
◊ Century 21 - various brand included top designers , at least half price off. Limit your stay there to avoid getting mad
◊ MAD - Museum of Art and Design with a restaurant- bar with a beautiful view over the Columbus Circle
◊ Brooklyn Bridge - Reaching Brooklyn by walking or running with unbeatable view and architecture
◊ East Village parks - everywhere in the East Village , they are customized by residents and ideal for a break
◊ Hudson River - in my mind it was the most beautiful place in New York where you could sit for hours while seeing the mist goes and comes back . Do not hesitate to make a game of pool , tennis or bowling at the Lucky Strike on 12th Avenue
◊ As an accommodation, the best choice is to rent a flat in New York.

Brooklyn
◊ Thrift shops & Salvation Army - there are many of them, the best thing is to walk across the Northern Brooklyn & Williamsburg and enter when you feel !
◊ Botanic Garden - better than Central Park it is like a haven of peace (for $ 5 or $ 10 ) which hides a gorgeous Japanese garden. Romanticism and oxygen
◊ BareBurger - organic "American food" restaurant but you leave that place without having stomach ache or having taken 3 kilos
◊ Coney Island - In the Southern Brooklyn , a large cosmopolitan attraction park, with a long sandy beach which reminds some scenes from movies and series
◊ Whyte Hotel - Staying a night or enjoying a drink on the rooftop is pretty amazing : the service is impeccable, there is a stunning view and clients are friendly.
